JULES PINKNEY
FOUNDER
In 2015 I created a festival. Why?
After returning to the UK from my years as an ex-pat in Spain, I set out to create a festival that reflected my passion for house music and a vision for an inclusive, community-driven event.
Our first year operated on zero budget and minimal infrastructure, supported only by a donation bucket for those who hoped to see it return.
Ten years on, the festival now welcomes 5,000 attendees and has become a recognised grassroots platform in the region

We focus strongly on youth opportunity within the dance music sector, offering taster DJ sessions, industry guidance, and dedicated performance slots for under-18 DJs. We also prioritise educating younger attendees on how to navigate mainstream festivals safely, ensuring they gain both skills and confidence as they enter wider music culture.
Our event is designed for all ages, providing a safe and engaging festival experience that families can enjoy together. As a grassroots organisation, we actively embrace partnerships and new opportunities that support our growth, enhance community impact, and strengthen the future of the festival.
